Hitesh is a biostatistician with Master’s degree in Statistics, working as an Informatics Analyst with Business Integration, Government of Alberta since 2018. He has been providing statistical support in planning and design research, data collection, cleaning and management, suggest appropriate methods of analysis, analyze data, interpret results, writing reports and creating visualizations to diverse groups of researchers including agriculture scientist, medical doctors, epidemiologists, oncologists, dentists, students and policy makers for more than 20 years. During this time, he has worked on over 250 challenging research projects and published more than 15 research papers, developed 10 dynamic dashboards for Government of Alberta internal use, assisted in teaching statistical methods and conducted workshops on data analysis using SPSS or SAS Programming and creating visualizations. Hitesh immigrated to Canada in 2005 and has previously worked as a biostatistician for The University of Saskatchewan, The University of Alberta and a not for profit organization, PolicyWise for Children and Families.
